Embroidered jewellery box

I found plastic canvas for sale in the local sewing shop and wanted to give it a try. The embroidery  took ages, but I finally finished it - what a relief! Acrylic thread (dark green, pale yellow, dusky pink and lilac), dusky pink cotton lining, purple glass bead and green ribbon to fasten the lid. The size is 9x9x4.5 cm.

Furry earrings

This is a historical artefact - I made these earrings when I was at school.

Large flower brooches

These were made a while ago, they now belong to my girls. Large felt flowers with a covered button in the middle, diameter 15 cm.

Stationery box/tray

A wooden box, painted with black acrylic paint and decorated with a white, silver and blue pattern. This was made as an anniversary present, hopefully will prove to be useful.

Butterfly brooch

A purple felt butterfly on a charcoal grey background, decorated with silver acrylic paint, silver embroidery and seed beads. Diameter 6 cm.

More pink and purple princess brooches...

Baby doll's bed

Time to play! The bed, originally green, was rescued from the dump. I painted it dark brown, and after that couldn't stop. Golden dots and bedknobs... The canopy holder is made from a piece of a broken hat stand, found in the attic. The rose was made long before from modelling clay, during one of the indoor afternoons with the children; it sat in a box for more than a year, and now finally found its place. A mattress, a pillow and a quilted duvet, and bedlinen - a sheet, a pillowcase and a duvet cover with ties.

Passport cover "Explorer"

This cover was made with three fabrics: one with ships and compasses, one with animals and scribbling in the background, and one matching solid brown. It now envelopes a Danish passport!
